As co-founder and Creative Director, Kirk Sanders leads Walking Shadows Productions with the same approach derived from a career of directing commercial content and films. From cast and crew to audience or investors, Kirk understands what motivates people to follow ideas. That mindset drives every Walking Shadows project. 

With over 20 years of production experience, including directing Oscar-nominated actors and Olympic gold medalists, Kirk is a director focused on delivering inspired, story-driven content for a diverse set of clients, including Fortune 500 companies, educational institutions, and non profit organizations.

Some of Kirk’s most notable credits include writing, directing and editing many celebrated television campaigns, garnering numerous industry accolades. Kirk’s work has been featured in several high-profile ads airing during the Super Bowl and Winter Olympics.

As an award-winning film director, Kirk’s most recent film credits include The Color of Darkness (2024), Her Burning (2024) and Hell is Murky (2025).
